Matter-wise money, without the ledger book.
Track fees, court expenses and retainers per matter, watch what each client still owes, and reconcile the TDS your clients deduct β from your phone, between hearings.
You already know the pain.
Every matter is its own economy.
Appearance fees, drafting charges, court fees paid on the client's behalf, clerk expenses β scattered across diaries, nothing per-matter.
Clients deduct TDS under 194J and you lose track.
Corporate clients pay professional fees net of 10% TDS. Without a running record, you can't reconcile 26AS or claim credit cleanly.
Retainers slip through the cracks.
Monthly retainer clients get invoiced late β or not at all β because raising the same bill twelve times a year is manual.
What Finocket does for you.
Projects as matters
Group income and expenses under each matter or client engagement, and read profitability per matter at a glance.
Professional-fee invoices
GST-correct fee notes with place-of-supply handled, shared to the client on WhatsApp or email as a PDF.
TDS-194J tracked
Record each payment with the TDS your client deducted; the year's summary groups by client and section for 26AS reconciliation.
Retainers on rules
Recurring rules raise the monthly retainer invoice automatically β every client, every month, on time.
Billable time
A timer with per-client entries when you bill by the hour; convert logged time into an invoice.
Confidential by construction
Row-level security scopes every record to your workspace; your CA joins read-only and sees only what filing needs.
A figure it can't cite doesn't get said
Ask the assistant about your fees or a client's outstanding and every sentence of the answer is checked against the figures it was actually handed. A sentence stating a number it cannot point at is deleted, not softened into a hedge β and the check runs on the report summary, the emailed digest and a drafted message too, not only in the chat box. Know its edge: it governs what the assistant tells you. Free text it drafts inside a proposed action β the body of an email, the narration on a journal β travels a different path and does not pass that check, which is one more reason the draft is put in front of you before anything is sent or saved.
Don't see your trade, or need something specific to it?
The kits and pages above cover what Finocket ships today - they are not the limit of what it can become. Tell us what your business does and what a bill, a stock count or a report needs to look like for it, and our own team will scope it honestly: what already works, what we'd build, and roughly how long that takes. This is an invitation to talk, not a promise of an overnight feature.
