Forms and landing pages

Build hosted lead-capture forms and mobile landing pages with a first-class consent block — every submission stores the exact opt-in text as proof and lands in your CRM as a lead.

Build a lead-capture form or a one-page landing page inside Finocket, publish it to a hosted link, and share it anywhere — WhatsApp, a QR sticker, an ad. Every submission becomes a CRM lead with the exact consent wording stored as proof. No website needed.

How do I build and publish a form?

  1. Open Forms and tap New form. Name it so you remember where it's shared (“Diwali offer”, “shop counter”).
  2. Add fields — text, email, phone or a longer textarea — and mark the ones that are required.
  3. Set up the consent block: choose which channels (email, SMS, WhatsApp) the tick covers and write the exact opt-in text your visitor will see. The “consent required” switch is ON by default — leave it on for marketing lists.
  4. Publish. You get a hosted link (/p/f/…) to share; the form carries your logo, business name and accent colour from Profile → Business.
  5. Watch the card: every form shows its views and submissions counts, so you can see which link pulls.

What happens when someone submits?

Everything below runs on Finocket's servers — nothing depends on the visitor's browser behaving:

  • Hidden honeypot fields silently drop bots (a captcha check can also run where enabled).
  • If consent is required and the box wasn't ticked, the submission is refused with a clear message — you never collect a marketing lead without consent.
  • Finocket de-duplicates by email/phone. A brand-new contact is created as a lead and you get a speed-to-lead alert so you can call while they're still interested.
  • A consent proof row is written: the timestamp, source, and the word-for-word opt-in text they agreed to. If they didn't tick, the contact is stored but kept suppressed until consent arrives.
  • If the visitor arrived via one of your QR codes or a partner referral link, that attribution is folded in automatically.

How do landing pages work?

Switch to the Pages tab. A landing page is a hosted, mobile-first page at /p/your-slug: a title, content blocks (headings, text, an image), and one of your published forms embedded at the bottom. Keep it as a draft while you tinker — drafts are not publicly reachable — then flip the publish toggle to go live.

Who can create and edit forms?

Owners and assistants (write access) build and publish; accountants see everything read-only with the builder locked. The module is enabled under Profile → Modules & features; if an admin has locked it off, the routes refuse access even by direct URL.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own website to collect leads?

No. Finocket hosts the form and the landing page for you at a public link with your branding on it. Share the link on WhatsApp, print it as a QR code, or put it in an ad — submissions land straight in your CRM as leads.

Is a consent checkbox legally required for marketing in India?

Under the DPDP Act, marketing messages need clear, informed consent, and TRAI's TCCCPR rules require verifiable opt-in for commercial SMS. Finocket stores the exact opt-in text, timestamp and source with every submission, so you can prove consent if a contact or regulator ever asks.

What if someone submits without ticking the consent box?

If you've made consent optional, the contact is saved but marked suppressed — marketing messages to them are blocked until they opt in. If consent is required (the default), the submission is refused server-side with a clear message asking them to tick the box.

Can a form re-activate someone who unsubscribed?

Yes. If a contact who opted out later fills your form and ticks the consent block themselves, that fresh express opt-in lifts the unsubscribe, with the new wording stored as proof. Spam complaints and hard bounces are different — those never auto-lift.

How does Finocket stop spam submissions?

A hidden honeypot field silently drops bot submissions, and a captcha check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs where it's configured — real visitors don't face a wall. Duplicate submissions from the same email or phone update the existing lead instead of creating clones.

Can I see which form is performing?

Every form card shows live view and submission counts, and every page card shows views — enough to compare a shop-counter QR against a WhatsApp status link without opening a separate analytics dashboard.
