Run more than one company under one login
Keep separate books for each business you run — its own GSTIN, invoices, stock and reports — and switch between them from the sidebar.
Finocket keeps the books for more than one business under a single login. Each company has its own name, GSTIN, country, invoice numbering, stock, reports and books — completely separate from your other companies. Add and switch companies from Profile → Companies.
Do I have to set anything up?
No. Your existing business automatically became your first company, with every client, invoice, expense and record intact. If you only ever run one business, nothing changes and you'll never see anything new.
How do I add another company?
- Open Profile → Companies.
- Tap Add company.
- Give it a name, plus its GSTIN and country if you have them (you can add these later).
- Save. The new company starts empty — its own clean set of books.
How do I switch between companies?
Once you have more than one, a company switcher appears in the sidebar. Pick a company and the whole app — invoices, expenses, stock, cost centres, reports, GST — shows only that company's data. Invoice numbering, the GSTIN printed on documents, and your financial statements are all per-company, so filings never mix.
Who can see which company?
Your companies are yours. A teammate or CA you invite gets access per the access you grant, and only ever sees the companies they're a member of — one business's books are never visible from another. The same wall applies to the API: an API key works inside one company per request (pin it to a company, or choose per call), and a company the key can't reach is refused.

Frequently asked questions
Can I run two GST-registered businesses in one Finocket account?
Yes. Add each business as its own company with its own GSTIN. Invoices, GSTR-1/3B data, stock and financial statements stay fully separate per company, so each business files its own returns cleanly from its own books.
Does the second company cost extra?
During early access, additional companies are free to use like the rest of the platform — founder pricing will be announced before billing switches on. Check the pricing page for the current position before adding companies for a larger practice.
Can my accountant see all my companies?
Only the ones they're a member of. Access is granted per company, so you can share one business's books with your CA while keeping another private. Inside a shared company an accountant's access is read-only.
Will my invoice numbers clash between companies?
No. Each company has its own numbering series, its own GSTIN on documents, and its own document defaults. Invoices created in one company never consume numbers from another, so both audit trails stay clean.
How do integrations and the API pick a company?
Every API request works inside exactly one company: the company the key is pinned to, your default, or the one named in the request. Marketplace connections and reports likewise belong to the company you connected them in.
