Connect Amazon.in and reconcile settlements
Connect your Amazon Seller account with one tap (or paste tokens), let Finocket pull GST MTR and settlement reports nightly, then convert marketplace orders into real GST invoices.
Finocket connects to your Amazon Seller account, pulls your GST Merchant Tax Report (B2B and B2C) every night plus settlement reports as Amazon publishes them, and turns marketplace orders into real GST invoices that flow into your GSTR-1 — no spreadsheets.
How do I connect my Amazon Seller account?
The fast path is one-tap Login with Amazon:
- Open Profile → Integrations and tap Amazon.in → Connect.
- Tap the "Connect via Amazon" button. You are sent to Seller Central's consent page.
- Sign in with your Amazon Seller account and grant Finocket access to the Reports API.
- Amazon sends you back to Finocket. You'll see an "Amazon connected" confirmation, and the first sync runs tonight.
Your credentials are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored — the plaintext token never touches the database. Disconnecting removes the connection and the cached marketplace data.
What if the one-tap button isn't available?
If your company registered its own SP-API app in Seller Central — or the one-tap button isn't shown — pick "Advanced: paste refresh token instead" and enter:
- LWA client id and LWA client secret — from Developer Central → App details.
- LWA refresh token — mint one from Seller Central → Manage Your Apps by authorising your own app.
- Marketplace id —
A21TJRUUN4KGVfor Amazon.in (the default). - Ingest-from date — where the first sync starts. Later nightly syncs continue from the last successful run.
What does Finocket pull, and how often?
- GST MTR B2B — every registered-buyer sale with buyer GSTIN, HSN and tax break-up. Nightly.
- GST MTR B2C — every unregistered-buyer sale. Nightly.
- Settlement reports — gross, TCS (CGST/SGST/IGST), commission, shipping and net payout, whenever Amazon generates one (roughly every two weeks).
Re-fetches never duplicate: orders, returns and settlements are matched on Amazon's own ids. The integration row shows a status badge so you can see at a glance when the last sync ran.
How do I turn Amazon orders into GST invoices?
- Open Reports → Marketplace orders. Three tabs: Orders, Settlements, Returns; summary tiles show gross, net payout and returns for your current filter (the list shows up to 500 rows per filter).
- On the Orders tab, tick any unconverted orders — one or many.
- Tap "Convert to invoice". Finocket creates real invoices with the correct CGST/SGST/IGST split (buyer state vs your state) and links each back to its marketplace order.
- Those invoices flow into your GSTR-1 like any other invoice.
At month-end, run GSTR-8 reconciliation to diff your outward supplies against Amazon's settlement view and catch mismatches before filing.

Frequently asked questions
How do I reconcile Amazon settlement reports with my books?
Connect Amazon and Finocket ingests settlement reports automatically. The Settlements tab shows gross, TCS, commission and net payout per settlement, and GSTR-8 reconciliation diffs Amazon's collected-TCS view against your own outward supplies so you spot gaps before filing.
Should I book the settlement amount or the full sale as revenue?
Book the full sale value as revenue and the marketplace fees, commission and TCS as separate line items — that is what your GSTR-1 needs. Booking only the net payout understates sales and breaks GST reconciliation. Finocket's convert-to-invoice does this correctly for you.
How do I claim the 1% TCS Amazon collects?
Amazon deposits TCS against your GSTIN and reports it in GSTR-8. It appears in your GST cash ledger after you accept it on the GST portal. Finocket's GSTR-8 reconciliation shows exactly how much TCS each marketplace collected per period.
Why is my Amazon payout less than my sales?
Amazon deducts referral commission, fulfilment and shipping fees, and 1% TCS before paying out. The Settlements tab breaks each payout into gross, fees and TCS so you can see where every rupee went.
Is it safe to give Finocket my Amazon tokens?
Yes. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage, bound to your workspace, and never shown again. Finocket only requests Reports API access — it cannot change your listings, prices or orders. Disconnect any time to remove the connection and cached data.
