Modules & plans — run only what you need
Turn modules on and off from one switchboard, discover the rest in the Explore panel, request locked ones, and understand Trial, Managed and Beta states.
Finocket is modular — you run only the areas you need. Your menus show only the modules you've enabled; everything else waits in the Explore modules panel at the bottom of the menu. Manage it all from Profile → Modules & features.
How do I turn a module on or off?
- Open Profile → Modules & features — the switchboard lists every module with its current state.
- Flip a module's switch. Your menus update instantly, on desktop and mobile.
- To undo experiments, tap Reset to defaults — it restores the set that matches your profile.
Core money features (dashboard, expenses, day book) are always on and can't be switched off. Your choices save to the workspace, so your whole team sees the same set.
Where did the other menu items go?
The navigation shows only enabled modules, grouped by category — a category with nothing enabled disappears entirely, so a simple setup stays a short, clean menu. Everything you haven't enabled lives in the Explore modules panel at the bottom of the menu: each disabled module appears there with its icon and an inline Enable (or Request) button. Enable one and it moves straight up into your menu.
What do the module states and badges mean?
- Available — switch it on yourself, right now.
- Beta — self-serve too, just flagged so you know it's still settling in.
- Trial — you're using it on a time-limited trial; the badge shows on its menu row until the trial ends.
- Managed — a Finocket admin has locked this module on or off for your workspace; the switch is disabled for you.
- Custom — your workspace runs a tailored set that differs from the standard defaults.
How do I request a locked module?
- Find the module on the switchboard or in the Explore panel — it shows Request access instead of a switch.
- Tap Request access. Your request goes to the Finocket team.
- When it's approved, the module unlocks for your workspace and appears in your menu once enabled. If it's declined, you'll see the reason.
What do the defaults look like, and what does it cost?
At sign-up you pick who you are — business, freelancer/consultant, or salaried/individual — and Finocket pre-selects a matching set: a business gets the full toolkit, an individual gets a focused personal-finance set. Change any of it any time.
The books are free for solo users in India, and every other scope is free during early access — founder pricing will be announced before billing switches on. For teams and multi-country (Australia / US) setups, contact sales and we'll tailor a plan.

Frequently asked questions
Why don't I see a feature in my menu any more?
The menu shows only enabled modules. If a module is off, its menu entry moves to the Explore modules panel at the bottom of the menu. Open Explore or Profile → Modules & features and enable it — it reappears immediately.
Can I try a module before committing?
Yes. Available and Beta modules are self-serve — switch them on, try them, switch them off; your data stays. Some modules run on a time-limited trial with a Trial badge in the menu; when it lapses, the module returns to the Explore panel.
What does the Managed badge mean?
A Finocket admin has fixed that module on or off for your workspace, so the switch is disabled for you. This is used for tailored plans and controlled rollouts. If you need a managed-off module, tap Request access and the team will review it.
Does turning a module off delete its data?
No. Disabling a module only hides its screens and menu entries — every record stays exactly where it was. Switch the module back on and everything is there. To actually remove data, use the data controls under Profile → Account & privacy.
Do my teammates get the same modules as me?
Yes. The module set belongs to the workspace, so owners, assistants and accountants all see the same enabled modules. Accountants see them read-only. Only the owner changes the set — from Profile → Modules & features.
