Finocket ships improvements almost every week. The highlights of each release are below, newest first, each linked to the guide that explains it in full. The complete timeline, with filters, is at What’s New.
Partner firms: one-step team invites, a full desktop menu, roles for your team, a client roster, and workspaces without a GSTIN
Partner portal fixes from a live session with a partner firm's team: joining, navigation, who sees what, and tracking every client. Plus a refreshed Industries page.
- Opening a client workspace now works for your firm's admins too, not just the owner - skip steps, go without a GSTIN, or share the link yourself.Read: A partner sets up your workspace, you claim it
- On a computer the partner portal menu now lists every screen, and each team member sees only what their role allows, with no more permission errors.Read: Finocket for partners & affiliates
- Your Customers screen now shows each client's signup, last login, setup and first invoice, lets you assign them to a team member, and flags who needs attention.Read: Your referred, allocated and provisioned customers
Pharmacy and contractors get their own place at setup, your shop joins your sales channels, jewellery prices by karat, batches get a price, and scanned bills match your catalog
Pharmacy gets a prescription register; contractors their own setup. Store joins sales channels. Jewellery prices by karat, settles karigar work, tracks gold savings, gains admin screens. Batches get a price, FEFO, catalog-matched scans.

Set up your trade from one screen, and six silent misfires fixed
Settings now sets up your trade's modules AND fields/documents/charges together. Tally, price-list and bank imports get real fixes and new bulk paths, and migrated invoices stop over-awarding loyalty points.
- Settings → Modules & features now also sets up your trade's fields, document template and charge presets — from the same industry suggestion as your modules.Read: Modules & plans — run only what you need
- A new report shows what your stock is worth at each store or warehouse, priced at that location's own cost — never blended with another one's.Read: Inventory & stock — track what you have on hand
- Three smaller fixes: a scan tile for a PO or supplier bill on the Add hub, an admin's module switch that actually saves, and any team member's own billing view.Read: Team & roles — invite an admin, an assistant, a member or your accountant
The partner portal's tabs have their names back
Five tabs, three menu rows and a whole screen in the partner portal were drawing their own internal key names instead of words. They now read properly in all five languages.
- The partner portal's tabs and menu, and the invoice template preview's buttons, read as words again in all five languages instead of internal names.
- Client setup health now has its own guide, and the ? on that screen opens it.Read: Which of your clients got stuck
- More on a phone opens as two columns — area icons down the left, every screen you switched on beside them — and the icon lights up as you scroll.
Drop an Odoo backup zip straight in, and Skip for now actually skips
Every area of Finocket now has its own colour, so you can see where you are at a glance. Moving off Odoo takes one file instead of five exports. And Skip for now, at the top of account setup, always does something.
- Each area has its own colour, the corner's floating buttons are now one, More on a phone can be filtered and searched, and a wide screen uses two columns.
- Coming from Odoo: drop your database-backup zip and your contacts, chart of accounts, items, invoices and bills are read off it directly.Read: Import your data from Zoho, Odoo, Vyapar or a spreadsheet
- Your setup checklist is grouped into timed stages, Skip for now at the top always works, and partners can see which clients have stalled and nudge them.Read: Get started with Finocket
An assistant's invoice now carries its GST, and a supplier stays a supplier
Import & migrate arrives in Settings — books from Tally, Zoho, Odoo, Vyapar or a sheet, dry-run first and undoable; assistant- and API-created invoices carry GST on every line; a supplier stays a supplier.
- An invoice, estimate or credit note your assistant creates carries HSN/SAC and GST on every line, as the form does; CGST/SGST mixed with IGST is refused.Read: Connect Finocket to Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini
- A connected system can create a supplier as a supplier — with GSTIN, PAN, legal name and address — instead of it landing in your customer list.Read: Developers — API keys, webhooks, OAuth & payments
- A connected system can read your chart of accounts, add a ledger, record a bill with no purchase order, import an asset by code and discount an invoice line.
A partner can set your workspace up for you, and you claim it
A reseller, agency or CA can now set your Finocket workspace up on your behalf and send you a claim link — sign up with the email it names and the fully set-up workspace becomes yours.
- Partners: More → Client workspaces sets a client up and sends a claim link; one email claims it, and any partner seat shows on your Team screen.Read: A partner sets up your workspace, you claim it
- Partners: Customers lists every referred, allocated or provisioned workspace — masked unless shared; reveal it, message via Finocket, or open a client's books.Read: Your referred, allocated and provisioned customers
- Your till can now print the customer's receipt on a 58 mm or 80 mm roll, and Products → Labels prints real barcodes your scanner reads.Read: Point of sale — run a counter till
Commission programmes can now be based on a deal's own value
Commission programmes can now be based on a deal's own value instead of only what's been collected — pick it when you set a programme's rate.

Partners can switch which business they're viewing, and typed signup codes now resolve on their own
If you partner with more than one business, you can now pick which one from the top bar. And a code typed at signup is matched to the partner it belongs to automatically, overnight.
- If you partner with more than one business, your partner portal now has a switcher in the top bar — pick which one you're viewing, and every screen follows.Read: Finocket for partners & affiliates

- Super admin can now move a reseller or CA to a different programme, with a reason, and edit any programme's Year 1/2/3 rates directly, no deploy needed.
A shop's affiliate links and codes now actually earn
A partner's tracked link or personal code now credits them the moment a shopper buys through it, and that credit flows into the same commission your other partners already earn — no separate ledger, no separate statement.
- If your sign-in stops being recognised mid-session, you now get a clear "please sign in again" prompt, not a vague loading error.
- A shopper who follows a partner's shop link, or types their code, is now credited to that partner the moment their order is billed.Read: Partner programs and commissions
- Return part of an order and the partner's commission on it comes back too — only the part that came back, and they get an email saying so.
Split payments go through, and your till stops guessing
Part cash and part UPI on one bill now works, a sale that will not send is set aside instead of blocking the ones behind it, a discount code waits to be typed, and points come back when the goods do.
- Taking one bill as part cash and part card or UPI now goes through — the counter and the bill agree on the total to the paise.Read: Point of sale — run a counter till
- Your Z-report now counts sales taken on the plain Cash and UPI buttons, which it used to read as nothing at all.
- An offer with a code now waits for the code to be typed, where until today it came off any qualifying bill on its own — so check any offer you have running.Read: Offers — discounts the till applies by itself
Choose how often your shop's prices refresh — and your own payment provider takes the money
Your shop can refresh prices live, every minute or once a day; it charges through the payment provider you connect yourself; and you can fill in your own shop policies and publish them.
- Your shop now has fill-in-the-blank templates for its terms, returns and privacy pages — you approve the wording and publish it.Read: Your shop's policy pages, by filling in the blanks
- The payment provider you connect yourself is now what your shop's checkout charges through, so the money lands in your own account.Read: Hosted checkout & auto-charge — what is and isn't live
- Publish your own UPI handle and shoppers can pay it directly — they attach the receipt and you confirm each payment yourself.Read: Take UPI straight into your bank — and confirm it yourself
